Hinamatsuri, also known as Girls' Day or Doll's Festival, is a traditional Japanese celebration held annually on March 3rd. The festival is dedicated to the well-being and happiness of young girls, wishing them good fortune and success in life.

A central tradition of Hinamatsuri involves the display of a set of ornamental dolls called "Hina Ningyo." These dolls represent the imperial court during the Heian period and are arranged on a multi-tiered platform covered in red fabric.

The Hina Dolls symbolize the emperor, empress, attendants, and musicians. They are believed to absorb any misfortune that might befall the girls, ensuring their protection and happiness.

Homes are adorned with peach blossoms, the symbolic flowers of Hinamatsuri, as well as other festive decorations.
